HOW A CRITERIUM WORKS

RIDER CATEGORIES

Sample fields include Open Elite, Category 3/4, Novice, Women’s Open, Masters 40+ and Junior Showcase. Final category availability is defined by each event organizer.

RACE-DAY ETIQUETTE

Hold a predictable line, communicate clearly, respect officials and keep warm-up activity outside the active course. Mechanical assistance and lap-out procedures are explained at the briefing.
